Black Out Your Trim, Badges & Grilles

Looking to switch your factory chrome to a blacked-out finish? Give your car a whole new look with a professional chrome delete.

What is chrome delete?

Chrome delete is the process of covering factory chrome trim including badges, grilles, window surrounds, mirrors and more, with a black (or coloured) vinyl wrap. It's one of the easiest ways to modernise your vehicle's look, especially if you're already running tinted windows or a wrap and want the chrome to stop standing out.

Most of our chrome delete work uses vinyl, which is designed to be removable if you sell the car or change your mind down the track - though for smaller pieces like badges we sometimes recommend paint or a sprayable vinyl instead. We'll always be upfront with you about which method suits which part of your vehicle.

What we can black out

  • Badges & emblems - manufacturer badges, model badges, trim badges

  • Window trim & pillars - including B-pillars and surrounds

  • Grilles - full or partial coverage

  • Roof rails

  • Wing mirrors

  • Door handles

  • Skirt trims

  • Headlight & taillight overlays - smoked film to match

  • And more!

Not sure what to include? Send us a photo of your vehicle and we'll recommend a package.

Finish options

  • Gloss Black - closest match to a factory black-out look, high shine

  • Matte Black - flat, stealth finish

  • Satin Black - a middle ground between gloss and matte, subtle sheen

We also stock a range of colours if you want to match your wrap or accent colour instead of black.
