What is a COLOUR CHANGE vinyl wrap?

A colour change wrap (also called a car wrap or vinyl wrap) is when precision-cut sheets of self-adhesive vinyl are applied directly to your vehicle's bodywork. The result is a seamless, factory-quality finish in any colour or texture you choose.

Unlike a respray, a vinyl wrap:

  • Doesn't damage your original paint - the factory finish is fully preserved beneath

  • Is completely reversible - remove it any time and your paint is as it was

  • Protects your paintwork from stone chips, minor scratches, UV fade, and everyday wear

  • Costs significantly less than a professional paint job

One thing to note: your existing paintwork needs to be in good condition before we wrap it. We need a clean, flat surface for the vinyl to bond to. If you're unsure, bring your vehicle in to the workshop, we're happy to take a look.

Choose your colour — come in and view samples in person, or we'll guide you through options

Book it in — a full colour change wrap takes approximately one full working week

Pick up your transformed vehicle — and try not to stop and look at it every five minutes

No. One of the key benefits of vinyl wrapping is that it's completely non-destructive. When removed correctly, the original paintwork is left intact - often in better condition than if it had been exposed to the elements.
How much does a colour change wrap cost in Auckland?
Pricing varies depending on vehicle size, wrap complexity, and the vinyl product selected. The best way to get an accurate figure is to get in touch for a quote - we're straightforward about pricing.
Can I wrap a car with damaged paint?
We need the existing paintwork to be in reasonable condition - free of major rust, bubbling, or peeling paint. Minor imperfections may be acceptable depending on their location. Bring your car in and we'll give you an honest assessment.
How long does it take?
A full colour change wrap takes approximately one full working week. Partial wraps are quicker - get in touch and we'll give you a realistic timeframe.
Can I wash my wrapped car?
Yes - hand washing is recommended. Avoid high-pressure jets directly on panel edges and skip the automatic car wash. We'll give you full aftercare guidance when you pick up your vehicle.
